These are some of the tweets I get on my tweeter account, just wanted to share them with you.

Any woman can seek a successful man be but only a true woman can support a man prior to his success.

It’s much easier to turn friendship into love than love into friendship

Fat girls can cook…….pretty girls look good in picture………ugly girls are funny……..looking

Don’t make decision when you are angry and don’t make promises when you are happy

Women are so greedy, the want all things from one man. Men are so simple, they want one thing from all women

Honesty is the key to a successful relationship, if that person cannot respect you for being truthful, they are not worth your time.

Never fight with ugly people, they have nothing to lose

There is a good chance you don’t like me but there is a better chance I don’t care

#things that piss me off – Ten year olds complaining they are single – hilarious rather than piss me off

Jega (verb)- to unceremoniously cancel an election or a planned program, to plan poorly. I Jegad my party.

It is not the effort that makes the guy smile, it is the willingness of guys to make those crazy effort just to make her smile

If you love someone….truly love someone, you would put aside foolish pride and fear and and love them without regret

A man must be big enough to admit his mistakes, smart enough to profit from them and strong enough to correct them

Dang, i’m nuts. GOD IS GOOD

Our Honorable First Lady

I chuckle anytime I have to listen to Our first lady talk. We’ve seen the finesse of Maryam Babangida, the charisma of Stella Obasanjo and taking it a step higher the Michelle Obama, Hillary Clinton e.t.c. One thing is noted, when they talk people regard them because their facts are cross checked and they exude brilliance. excerpt below are some of the “MOMENTS” that has endeared “our first lady” to our heart, positively or negatively – well that ball is in your court.

” My Husband and Sambo (Vice President) is a good people”

– ” the President was once a child and the senators were once a children”

– ” The people sitting before you here were once a children”

– ” the bombers who born them? wasn’t it not a woman? They were once a children, now a adult, now they are bombing women and children making some children a widow”

-” My heart feels sorry for these children who have become widows by losing their parents for one reason or another”

-” We should have love for our fellow Nigerians irrespective of their NATIONALITY”

I really don’t know how this resonates with the population at large, however deep down within me this level of mediocrity is alarming.

Perspective

It’s a new month again and the year is speeding away. uhmmmm……. like the saying goes ‘make hay while the sun shines’, I have decided to give this blog a facelift. I hope to be more consistent and look forward to thoughts on current happenings around me. In as much as I don’t want to beat a dead horse I however realise the protest and demonstrations sweeping the middle east is more than meet the eye. Is all this in the name of democracy??? well time will tell. Occurrences and situations in Nigeria never cease to baffle or amaze me. How do I reconcile the fact that a convicted person who stole billions of Naira decided to ‘celebrate’ his release by having a thanksgiving in church with the who is who or creme de la creme in the society and in his political party falling over each other to welcome him. Seems as though the April elections has more in the bag that I am hoping or bargaining for. Well fingers crossed and I hope to keep y’all updated. Starting a new role or business venture from tomorrow, kinda excited. It’s a new me, a new month and if I may say new perspective

My field of snow

Its official, winter has started!, one of its features include extreme high precipitation in form of snowfall. I woke up one morning after I came to the United Kingdom, opening the door, lo and behold a sea of white substance said good morning, hope your night was not too cold? My first re-action was to gasp……‘Jehovah el-effizzy’. This was a popular phrase during my undergraduate days amongst fellowship brethren, it describe a situation of amazement or pure joy for a situation that has occurred attributable to only one being…….GOD.

Due to its appearance it is regarded as sign of purity, others view it has newness of life or a new beginning while some are of the opinion it reflect peace. Whichever way one looks at it barring the coldness, it is an awesome sight to behold. A landscape view of snow with no blemish of dirt.
As an individual who loves to have time to walk and ponder on my thoughts and life, I have a favourite spot near my house, a park to be exact. The grass is kept lush green and well maintained, the trees whisper sweet songs to the discerning ears and the ambience of the environment stirs up the sinews and fabric of my being. However during the winter period, this is all covered in inches of snow and the park is rendered a risky place to venture into due to the ease of getting missing along its tricky paths and also the mini lake that can be deceptive in its look when frozen.

I have absolute love for the landscape formed by the snow during winter but a part of me looks forward to my time of tranquillity and self awareness during spring and summer. The snow is falling thick and fast nowadays and the lush green grass is paving way for an envelope of snow. This sets me thinking, when we as human look all peaceful and our countenance says all is well from the outside, what would we give way to when the rays of heat and trials shines on our peace? Would there be an outlay of green grass of hope that says all is well?

My field is covered with snow so peaceful during the winter but I look forward to a spring and summer of green grass. What are you dear reader looking forward to?
